About Yggdrasil
Born in 2013 and launched on the market even more recently, precisely only last year in 2017, this young and brilliant company with offices in Malta, Sweden, Poland, and Gibraltar, creates software for the gaming industry, and its games are available both in PC and mobile versions.
In this article, we'll take a look at Yggdrasil's leaps and bounds over the years and provide some insight into his most interesting projects.
In the first quarter of 2017, the provider had announced its intention to venture into the lively and rapidly expanding gaming market, and the second quarter of 2017 saw Yggdrasil's desire come true when 11 of its products, among those that had become most famous in other markets, were finally introduced here.
Among the various awards that the Yggdrasil team has received so far, we mention the titles of "Slot Provider of the Year", obtained for two consecutive years at the EGR B2B Awards, respectively in 2016 and 2017, along with the titles of "iGaming Software Supplier of the Year" at the IGA in 2016, and "Innovator" at the IGA in 2017.

Who is Yggdrasil?
Since its birth in 2013, the software and gaming provider has come a long way, and the journey has been marked by important milestones, which have followed one another rather quickly. Let's see the most relevant ones.
In 2014, Yggdrasil switched from Flash to HTML5 language, and by the first half of 2017, they reached the latest and updated iSENSE 2.0+ platform, perfected to provide players with the best gaming experience they could desire.
Subsequently, the gaming world sees the birth of BOOST™, a tool launched by Yggdrasil Gaming to provide online casinos with an opportunity to optimize player retention and acquisition sectors. In short, it is an intelligent collection of promotional tools that give players the choice between various prize competitions, such as raffles and leaderboards.
BRAG™, launched in 2016, can be considered an effective addition to the BOOST™ system, allowing players to share their winning spins on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, and review them at any time. Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming, invited and encouraged anyone who wanted to collaborate with the company to present their ideas at the London event, but he also explained the modus operandi of Yggdrasil by taking us fishing on a beautiful sunny day!
Every month the company launches new creations, and in the first half of 2018 it proposed its first white-label video slot, a product that allows rebranding by partner operators. This is the game Royal Family, launched in collaboration with LeoVegas casino. The exclusive creation is the result of the Yggdrasil White Label Studios section, established in 2016, which is specifically responsible for developing tailor-made products for casinos.
At the last ICE 2019 in London, Yggdrasil allowed us to play with its now third 3D table, the "Dr Fortuno" Blackjack, paired with a slot machine with which it shares a very interesting daily jackpot!
